A keepsake is a smaller token that is meant to hold a smaller portion of ashes. It is not intended to replace a full-sized urn, but is an easy way to keep a small piece of your loved one’s ashes nearby.

For example, people who are sharing their loved one’s ashes across multiple family members or friends typically find using keepsakes a good way to store smaller portions.
